Pace SBDC helped Laura Hart, owner of Robofun, secure over a quarter million dollars in financing with guidance from business advisor Pedro Soto Jr. This funding allowed the business to address cash flow gaps, refinance existing debt, and continue growing its innovative education programs.
Pace SBDC Business Advisor Rawle Brown guided Aubrey Lawson and Ray Charles through business plan development, financial projections, and landlord negotiations for their Guyanese restaurant in Bedford Stuyvesant.

Lower East Side-based custom neon light studio, GLO Studio, had to temporally close its physical storefront due to COVID and with the assistance of Pace SBDC they successfully transitioned to operating exclusively online and also secured $200,000 financing from the PPP and EIDL programs.
Pace SBDC helped Norwegian Baked owner Hedvig Bourbon develop a business plan as well as formalize bookkeeping procedures for her Brooklyn-based commercial kitchen. Further, post pandemic, Pace SBDC helped the business secure a PPP forgivable loan, enabling the business to save three jobs.
Harlem Baking Company (HBC), is a dessert brand that produces confections served in jars. With support from Pace SBDC business advisors Rawle Brown and Susan Gluck, HBC received help on business planning, access to financing, and market positioning as they expand into producing a line of dessert products.
