Data Visualization for Small Business Owners

Participants will learn how charts and dashboards can make business data easier to understand, reveal patterns and opportunities, and support better decision-making. The session will also include simple examples using Tableau to show how everyday business data can be transformed into clear, useful visuals.

The SBA Patriot Pitch is more than a contest all industries are eligible to submit, and finalists will compete in a live pitch event in Washington, D.C., vying for a share of the prize pool of $1 million, with the top grand prize set at $400,000. Ten semifinalists will be announced this summer at the Great American State Fair, with five advancing to the final competition in Washington, D.C. scheduled tentatively between September 8 and September 18, 2026. All applications are due by June 10, 2026, at 11:59 pm ET.

The Verizon Small Business Digital Ready Program provides small businesses with access to free training, valuable resources, and grant funding opportunities.
