IN-PERSON: Small Business Financing Panel

The Pace University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the US Small Business Administration (SBA) New York District Office will host a free small business financing panel & networking session for existing small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs to provide practical strategies to finance their small businesses. The forum will include two panels featuring financial institutions and alternative small business lenders, who will highlight what they look for when evaluating a loan application, typical loan terms, and the documents needed to apply. This panel will also include an in person opportunity to meet one-on-one with lenders to assess the source of capital that is best suited for their business needs.
Be sure to arrange a meeting with a Pace SBDC Business Advisor before the financing panel to learn more about financing options for your small business, and prepare to effectively detail your business and prospective financing need when meeting the small business lenders.
NELP Remote Small Business Legal Clinic

The Neighborhood Entrepreneur Law Project's small business legal clinics are an opportunity for entrepreneurs to receive free legal advice during a 45-minute consultation with a volunteer attorney. Please complete this form so that we can gather more information from you and attempt to match your legal needs with a volunteer attorney on the day of the clinic. We will reach out with more information and documentation as the clinic date approaches.

Join the Pace University SBDC and Thomas Yoseloff Business Center for a no-cost, two-hour, IN-PERSON website editing workshop at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library at 455 Fifth Avenue in midtown Manhattan.
This workshop is an opportunity to work on your small business' website with the assistance of business advisors. We’ll work together to create SEO friendly content, promotions and theming that encourage sales. and touch on website resources available through the Verizon Digital Ready program. All skill levels, industries, and stages of business are welcome. Be sure to have the username and password of your website handy to participate in this hands-on workshop.

International Trade Essentials: Importing and Exporting for Your Small Business

Join this seminar focused on the essentials of international trade for small businesses. Mercedes Sanchez-Moore, Director of International Trade at the New York SBDC, will cover export readiness and key export fundamentals. John Tracy, Senior International Trade Specialist with the U.S. Department of Commerce, will explain landed cost calculation, demonstrate the FTA Tariff Tool, and highlight other U.S. Commercial Service resources. Kathryn Bamberger, International Trade Manager at Empire State Development, will provide an overview of ESD’s international trade services and support programs.
This event is co-hosted by the Mohawk Valley SBDC, MVCC's thINCubator, and the Advanced Institute for Manufacturing.

Verizon Small Business Digital Ready Program
The Verizon Small Business Digital Ready Program provides small businesses with access to free training, valuable resources, and grant funding opportunities.
To get started, businesses sign up at Verizon Small Business Digital Ready by answering four quick questions, at which point you can access more than 60 free live and recorded training sessions on topics such as social media marketing, financial management, and customer engagement. Further, note that a range of courses are available in Spanish.
NYC BEST Boot Camp
The NYC Best Boot Camp offers a series of sessions to help small business owners understand permits, inspections, and licenses required to operate in New York City.
Participants can attend one or more sessions, each focused on practical, city-specific guidance.
All sessions are held virtually.
AI Exchange
The AI Exchange will be an alternating monthly program offering live webinars and roundtables on Artificial Intelligence and small business. All sessions are presented virtually.
