Learn how websites work, how to make an outline and select a platform, and get started building your business’ website with the help of Business Advisors from the Pace University Small Business Development Center.

Join the Pace University SBDC and Thomas Yoseloff Business Center for a no-cost, two-hour, IN-PERSON website editing workshop at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library.
This workshop is an opportunity to work on your small business' website with the assistance of business advisors. This event will include some quick information on SEO and best online practices, but the workshop will mainly focus on editing and improving each participant's website. All skill levels, industries, and stages of business are welcome. Be sure to have the username and password of your website handy to participate in this hands-on workshop.
IN-PERSON Small Business Financing Panel

The Pace University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the US Small Business Administration (SBA) New York District Office will host a free small business financing panel & networking session for existing small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs to provide practical strategies to finance their small businesses.
The forum will include two panels featuring financial institutions and alternative small business lenders, who will highlight what they look for when evaluating a loan application, typical loan terms, and the documents needed to apply. This panel will also include an in person opportunity to meet one-on-one with lenders to assess the source of capital that is best suited for their business needs.

NY StartUP! 2025 Business Plan Competition - New York Public Library
Application Deadline: September 9, 2025
The New York Public Library is offering aspiring entrepreneurs a chance to win up to a $15,000 grand prize through its 2025 New York StartUP! Business Plan Competition. To apply, participants must attend a required online orientation session and complete training workshops before the submission deadline.
This opportunity supports new and aspiring entrepreneurs in Manhattan, The Bronx, and Staten Island in developing business plans and launching viable ventures.

Export Bootcamp is designed to help New York State companies sharpen or start their export focus and gain skills to successfully develop their export programs. This webinar series is also designed for experienced and new-to-export firms that would like expert advice on the topics listed below. Attendees will receive a Certificate following completion of this webinar series.
Who Should Attend: This webinar series is ideal for marketing and sales management and support staff, export operations personnel, purchasing, logistics, and anyone with a responsibility for export functions.
About the Presenters: The Export Bootcamp instructors are international trade practitioners that are primarily members of the New York District Export Council, a volunteer group of private-sector individuals appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce to provide mentoring on exporting U.S. goods and services. They will present the course materials drawing from their extensive experience in international trade.
