El Centro de Soluciones para Negocios de NYC en unión con El Centro de Desarrollo para Pequeños Negocios, Pace SBDC presentan este taller para dar a conocer a la comunidad Hispana los recursos y herramientas que El Estado y la Ciudad de Nueva York ofrecen sin costo a los Pequeños Negocios.

Una de las dudas mas comunes de los emprendedores es saber qué permisos y licencias su negocio necesita para funcionar en la Ciudad y Estado de NY, en esté taller se explicará como encontrar las agencias a las que se deben dirigir pará hacer la aplicación y también cómo encontrar un asesor de la Ciudad que le haga una evaluación a su negocio para saber si cumple o no con los requerimientos gubernamentales.

Evaluating Best Business Practices

The Pace SBDC partnered with the NYS Center for Disability Entrepreneurship at the Farmingdale SBDC to present "Evaluating Best Business Practices."

Prior to the webinar, the organizers inquired if anyone attending or their family members lived with a disability. They aimed to assist those interested in starting their own business.

The webinar, which lasted one hour, covered the necessary steps to initiate and expand a business. It provided insights into various business formations, tax and legal obligations, methods of record-keeping, and employer responsibilities.

NELP Remote Small Business Legal Clinic

The City Bar Justice Center’s Neighborhood Entrepreneur Law Project (NELP) partnered with the Pace SBDC and the Brooklyn Public Library’s Business & Career Center to offer a virtual small business legal clinic. This clinic, conducted by NELP, was an opportunity for entrepreneurs to meet with a team of pro bono attorneys to discuss legal issues related to their small businesses, such as intellectual property rights, contracts/agreements, business structure and incorporation, commercial leasing and more. NELP's small business legal clinics provide entrepreneurs with free legal advice during a 45-minute consultation.

What Entrepreneurs Need to Know About Contracts

Summer Youth Employment Program Info Session
