Adrienne Nicole Productions

Two years ago, film and photography production in New York City was suddenly shuttered due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Without warning, Emmy nominated & award-winning Producer Adrienne Nicole found herself in an unimaginable position. She’d been successfully growing and managing Adrienne Nicole Productions (ANP), a healthcare focused film and photography production company, for years, but the pandemic was a new and daunting challenge. Adrienne sprang into action. To keep everyone safe, the company created remote camera kits & started producing remotely.

While that was a huge win for ANP, Adrienne knew that shipping remote camera kits wasn't a viable long-term strategy. That’s when she applied to and was approved for an Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) from the U.S. Small Business Administration. She also decided to meet with Pace SBDC business advisor Greg Callender for advice.

Adrienne and Greg forecasted how money from the EIDL program could be used to not only help her business recover, but also grow and emerge stronger from the pandemic. She accepted the loan and this essential financing saved four jobs at Adrienne Nicole Productions. The company was able to successfully restart their productions when pandemic restrictions were lifted. Adrienne describes the Pace SBDC’s assistance as vital to her business’s success. She said the Pace SBDC's advice helped her "realize how beneficial the EIDL loan would be for my company," and, "identify where the funds could be utilized to exponentially grow [her] business."

If your business has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, meet with a Pace SBDC business advisor to brainstorm pandemic recovery strategies and explore available relief programs.
