2020 National Institutes of Health SBIR Award

2019 NYSBDC Impact Business of Year

Pace SBDC provided guidance to QUA Inc as they prepared a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) application to the National Institutes of Health. QUA was awarded a $150,000 SBIR Phase I grant for further testing of their innovative technology, helping create three new jobs.
The NYSBDC team and technology consultants provided Pace SBDC client Geopipe with guidance on their Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) application to the National Science Foundation. Geopipe was awarded a $750,000 SBIR Phase II grant to commercialize its technology.
Earth Angel
Pace SBDC helped Earth Angel’s founder map out and develop a business plan & financial projections, and start the MWBE certification. With the assistance of her business advisor, Earth Angel secured a $100,000 SmartLoan from Excelsior Growth Fund.

Kweer Cards
Pace SBDC guided Kweer Cards to improve their business plan narrative and to update their financial projections, helping this new business win the $15,000 first prize at the NY StartUP! 2018 Business Plan Competition and create three new jobs.
Over the course of a nine year relationship, Pace SBDC helped Arepera Guacuco's founder to develop a business plan and budget, as well as secure the financing needed to open his three restaurants. Their latest location opened in January 2018

Pace SBDC helped Stoolyoga’s founder develop an online presence on Facebook and Instagram, launch a fully-operational e-commerce website and social media advertising campaign, and map out their business expansion plan to create one new job.

Pace SBDC helped Fortis Contractors LLC’s founder formalize project budgets, develop a capability statement, and secure her MWBE designation. With this assistance the client was able to secure over $400,000 in contracts and create over 30 new jobs.

Pace SBDC helped The Happy Glow’s founder develop a business plan, financial projections and start-up costs for the new venture, as well as feedback on her pitch. The client won first prize and a $2,000 cash award at the NYSBDC Pitch Competition.
Brooklyn Granola
Pace SBDC helped Brooklyn Granola build their online presence and increase followers with targeted marketing strategies. With this assistance, Brooklyn Granola increased their sales by 60%, expanded to 13 stores, and landed Google as a corporate account.
FiDi Therapy
Pace SBDC helped FiDi Therapy’s founder develop a marketing plan, operationalize accounting procedures and plan for expansion. With this assistance, FiDi Therapy secured $80,000 in financing from Citibank and Chase and hired two new employees.
