Dog Cakes for Dogs is a one-of-a-kind dog cake company that specializes in beautiful custom cakes for dogs. These dog cakes are designed to look like YOUR dog. Their cakes and cupcakes are baked from scratch and there are no preservatives or additives.

Dog Cakes for Dogs owner, Anna Scala, met with Pace SBDC Business Advisor Anish Thakkar to identify marketing strategies she could implement to boost sales. Anish recommended that the client focus initially on revamping her website, and worked with her during subsequent meetings to build and learn how to maintain her new site using the Wix website-building platform. With Anna's dogged (pun intended) determination, she was able to build a new, user-friendly and functional eCommerce website that made it easier to view and order these amazing dog cakes.

Since launching her new website, Ms. Scala has already experienced a 15% increase in sales. Pace SBDC will continue to work with Dog Cakes for Dogs in developing additional marketing strategies such as an expanded social media presence to further develop awareness and drive additional sales.
