Empowering Brooklyn Entrepreneurs: Pace SBDC Launches 1:1 Business Advisory Services at Brooklyn Public Library

We are thrilled to share that the Pace University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is expanding our reach to Brooklyn, bringing our high-impact counseling services directly to the heart of the community. Starting January 2, 2024, the Pace SBDC officially launched 1:1 business advisory services from the Business & Career Services at Brooklyn Public Library’s main branch. These 1:1 appointments are available every Thursday – to request an appointment small businesses just need to complete a brief counseling request at NYSBDC eCenter Direct and a Pace SBDC staff member will be back in contact to finalize.

This strategic expansion is part of our ongoing commitment to support small businesses, both existing and aspiring, by providing confidential and in-depth counseling sessions. Our seasoned business advisors will be available for these sessions, addressing critical areas such as access to financing, marketing and sales strategies, government procurement, and comprehensive business planning.

Just like our successful partnership with the New York Public Library in midtown, these sessions at the Brooklyn Public Library will be offered at no cost. The Pace SBDC has a proven track record of assisting small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs in Manhattan, and we are excited to extend our services to Brooklyn. Our team's wealth of experience, coupled with the support from the U.S. Small Business Administration, the State of New York, and Pace University, ensures that our counseling services and training programs remain accessible to all.

Our dedicated business advisors look forward to helping Brooklyn-based entrepreneurs navigate the complexities of business ownership and development. Whether you're seeking guidance on financing, formulating effective marketing strategies, exploring government procurement opportunities, or crafting a robust business plan, our team is here for you.
