Small Business Grant Deadlines


New York City’s Employee Retention Grant Program provides small businesses and nonprofits with 1-4 employees with grants covering up to 40% of their payroll for two months, up to $27,000. To be eligible, applicants must demonstrate at least a 25% decrease in revenue as a result of COVID-19, have been in operation for at least 6 months and have no outstanding tax liens or legal judgments. NYC will officially stop accepting applications on Friday, April 3, 2020, at 5 p.m.

The Verizon-LISC Small Business Recovery Fund is offering grants of up to $10,000 to help businesses facing immediate financial pressure because of COVID-19. Eligible expenses under the grant program include payroll, rent, utilities, outstanding debt to vendors and other immediate operational costs. Applications are due by Saturday, April 4th, 11:59 p.m. ET.

The Thryv Foundation’s Small Business COVID-19 Grant Program will award grants between $2,500 and $15,000 to qualifying small business applicants. Grants will be made on a first-come, first-served basis and applications must be submitted by April 30, 2020.
