SBA visit to Pace office
In advance of National Small Business Week, the Pace University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) was pleased to host District Director Beth Goldberg and Public Affairs Specialist Bailey Wolff from the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) New York District Office. As part of the visit Ms. Goldberg and Mr. Wolff did a tour of the center and met the full Pace SBDC team, learning more about how our center delivers the range of no-cost business assistance programming. Ms. Goldberg also engaged with the center’s interns to explore how their work at the SBDC complements their studies here at Pace University.
Pace SBDC also arranged for the SBA reps to meet with Neil Braun, Dean of Pace University’s Lubin School of Business. Dean Braun highlighted the focus on entrepreneurship in Pace’s programming, and also provided insight into how earlier in his career, SBA financing helped launch a film industry business at which he had a leadership role.
