"Building a Small Business Website with Wix" Workshop Recap

Last week, we partnered up with certified Wix website designers, James and Lorraine, to host an interactive training session on how to build a simple website from scratch. Utilizing one of the pre-designed templates or an empty canvas, attendees were able to navigate through the Wix Editor to familiarize themselves with the steps involved in putting together a website as well as the tools and features Wix has to offer. In addition to providing attendees with general best practices for web design, the presenter also offered powerful design hints such as adding attention-grabbing video backgrounds and integrating popular apps. By the end of the class, attendees had the opportunity to see the website creation process from beginning to end.
