Small Business Finance Panel

Last week the Pace University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) had the opportunity to serve on an engaging small business finance panel hosted by US Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez the Chinese Chamber of Commerce. As part of the panel, Pace SBDC Director Andrew Flamm highlighted the range of no-cost 1:1 business counseling services and workshops offered by our center, and encouraged the existing and prospective small business owners in attendance to connect with one of the New York SBDC centers. Representatives from the US Small Business Administration (SBA), New York Business Development Corp (NYBDC), and Renaissance Economic Development highlighted their available small business lending programs and criteria, and representatives from SCORE’s New York chapter and NYC’s Department of Small Business Services (SBS) also discussed their

available services.

“The Pace SBDC was pleased to be part of this small business forum focused on serving small business owners in the Chinese American community, and appreciates Congresswoman Velazquez’s leadership as Ranking Member of the House Small Business Committee,” said Andrew Flamm, Director of the Pace SBDC. “By combining the resources of Pace University, the private sector and government, the Pace SBDC provides free in-depth and confidential one-on-one business advisement, training and research to help small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs launch or grow their business.”
