NYS Small Business Seed Funding Grant Program
Anchor 1

The New York State Seed Funding Grant Program (the “Program”) provides grants of up to $25,000 to operating New York State based early-stage small and micro businesses, and for-profit independent arts and cultural organizations.

The grants will be flexible and can be used for business operating expenses, including payroll, rent or mortgage payments, taxes, utilities, and PPE expenses incurred between September 1, 2018, and January 1, 2022.

The Applicants must have started operations on or after September 1, 2018, been operational for at least six months before an application is submitted, and have between $5,000 and $1 million in gross receipts.

Due to the high volume of applications received, new applications are currently not being accepted. Applications that have already been submitted will continue to be reviewed.
