The Harlem Entrepreneurial Grant Initiative by The Apollo, in partnership with BET and 125th Street Business Improvement District (BID) presents the return of the Harlem Entrepreneurial Micro-Grant Initiative to support local businesses, arts organizations and arts collectives in financial need.

Through the initiative, ten $10,000 micro-grants will be distributed to local merchants and organizations that define the culture and the vitality of Harlem.

Eligibility Requirements: 

​

Business

  • Must be located and operating in Harlem for at least six months

  • Must be independently owned and operated (not corporate branch/location)

 

Not for Profit Arts Organizations/Art Collectives

  • Must be located and operating in Harlem for at least six months

  • Must not have an operating budget more than $500K

  • Must be a 501 c 3 arts collective or arts organization under 500K
