Commercial Lease Negotiation Workshop Recap

Earlier this month, the Pace SBDC collaborated with the City Bar Justice Center’s Neighborhood Entrepreneur Law Project (NELP) to host a free workshop where an attorney from Sherman & Sterling LLP reviewed commercial lease negotiation strategies. The volunteer attorney covered topics ranging from recommended research before deciding on a space, what to look for in a written lease, and selecting an appropriate lease term. Following the presentation, the entrepreneurs in attendance engaged the attorney in Q&A that included questions surrounding a number of current commercial leasing prospects.
