As part of New York Music Month 2025, the Pace University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) partnered with Universal Attractions Agency (UAA) and She Rocked It to present Secrets to Rocking It as a Creative Entrepreneur - a dynamic and engaging panel discussion that brought together creative professionals, aspiring entrepreneurs, and music industry experts.

The session was co-facilitated by Nick Martucci of UAA and Karen Gross of She Rocked It, and focused on key strategies for building a sustainable career in the creative industries. Panelists shared personal stories, professional insights, and practical advice on avoiding common missteps.

The discussion centered around the challenges and opportunities that creative professionals face when launching or growing their businesses. Topics included building a sustainable brand, managing the legal side of a creative business, navigating contracts, and accessing affordable support services. As part of the session, Pace SBDC  Regional Director Andrew Flamm shared how the center offers personalized one-on-one business counseling and market research to help entrepreneurs in creative fields launch and grow their ventures.
