Restart NY: New Grant For Performing Arts Organizations

New York State has launched the Restart NY: Rapid Live Performance Grant Program, which will offer grants of up to $10,000 for eligible performing arts organizations with planned performance programming between July 1 - December 31, 2021. This $10 million program will target non-profit organizations with FY19 expenses of less than $10 million and that have received funding from New York State’s Council on the Arts (NYSCA) within the past 5 years.

The application includes a short Grant Request Statement that highlights the live, in-person performances the organization intends to host. Please note that the application portal will close July 1 and that receipt of Restart NY grant funding will not affect eligibility for the NYS Pandemic Recovery Grant program.

For further guidance, including instructions on how to apply, check out the NYSCA application manual or you can contact the Pace University SBDC to meet one-on-one with a business advisor at no-cost to you.
