Pace University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Regional Director Andrew Flamm recently enjoyed joining leadership from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) for a tour of Downtown businesses. SBA representatives included Jennifer Kim, Associate Administrator for the Office of Field Operations; Marlene Cintron, Region II Administrator; Beth Goldberg, New York District Director; and Matthew Coleman, Regional Communications Director.

The tour started at Pace SBDC small business client NameGlo, where the business’s co-owner Lena Imamura described her challenges post-pandemic as well as the important role small business recovery programs played in enabling the business to continue as well as retain jobs. The tour continued with visits to small businesses in Chinatown and Tribeca, where representatives from the Chinatown Partnership and Renaissance Economic Development joined.

Contact the Pace University SBDC if you need help accessing SBA and traditional financing programs, as well as pandemic relief programs, or are looking to launch or improve your website, social media presence and other marketing efforts. These and all other services are offered at no cost.
