The team from Pace University's Small Business Development Center (SBDC) recently attended the annual staff training conference of the NYSBDC in Syracuse, New York. During the conference, our team actively engaged in workshops and established connections with NYSBDC colleagues from across the state, with the primary objective of exchanging ideas and discussing best practices for assisting small businesses.

We are thrilled to announce that our business advisors, Susan Gluck and Joe Peterson, have earned esteemed designations as New York State-certified business advisors. This recognition underscores their expertise and further enhances our ability to provide top-notch support to our clients.

Throughout the conference, our business advisors actively participated in a wide range of hands-on workshops. These workshops covered various relevant topics such as starting and running a small business, along with other pressing concerns that entrepreneurs often seek assistance with. By delving into these subjects, our advisors equipped themselves with the latest insights and strategies, enabling them to offer effective guidance to our clients.

We firmly believe in the significance of continuing education for our business advisors. It empowers them to remain updated on the ever-evolving landscape of small businesses, ensuring they can provide clients with the most relevant and valuable advice. The conference proved to be an invaluable source of information and resources, which we are excited to share with our clients. By doing so, we aim to equip them with the tools and knowledge they need to thrive in their respective ventures.
