PACE SBDC at 2023 NYS Regional MWBE Opportunities Expo Series

The Pace University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) teamed up with SBDCs from Brooklyn, York College & LaGuardia Community College on tabling/networking at the 2023 NYS Regional MWBE Opportunities Expo Series. Our team, represented by business advisors Rawle Brown and Susan Gluck, had the opportunity to meet with entrepreneurs and discuss the resources available to help them access procurement opportunities.

Hosted by NYS’ Empire State Development, the event’s theme was Connections to Contracts: Building Meaningful Relationships for Business Success. Minority & Woman-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) were able to network with state procurement officers, MWBE liaisons, and private companies. They listened in on panels and presentations on contracting opportunities and participated in capacity building workshops.

At the Pace University Small Business Development Center, our certified business advisors are here to guide existing business owners as well as aspiring entrepreneurs. We offer no-cost, 1:1 business advisory services on topics such as access to capital, government procurement, marketing and sales strategies, and business planning. To schedule a business advisory session, visit our website or email us.
