On March 11, 2024, Pace University's Lower Manhattan facility buzzed with excitement as the Pace SBDC partnered with Turner Construction to host a pivotal procurement information session. With an aim to highlight small business contract opportunities tied to the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Silvio Mollo Federal Building Project, the event promised a wealth of knowledge and networking opportunities.

Pace SBDC Regional Director Andrew Flamm kicked off the event by highlighting the organization's support services for small businesses, from financing access to certification assistance to developing capability statements, websites and social media content and how these efforts position businesses for contract success. Turner Construction representatives then talked about project details, key trades sought, and the process of becoming a Turner prequalified vendor.

Attendees capitalized on networking prospects, engaging with procurement officers, industry experts, and peers. These interactions sowed seeds for potential collaborations, underlining the event's community-building essence.
