At the Pace University Small Business Development Center (SBDC), we are proud to support entrepreneurs by engaging directly with small business owners and community leaders throughout New York City. Over the past few weeks, our team participated in several impactful events—connecting face-to-face with those building and growing their businesses.

SBA Small Business Week Celebration
As part of National Small Business Week, Pace SBDC joined the five other NYC-based SBDC centers at the U.S. Small Business Administration’s flagship event in Lower Manhattan. We had the opportunity to meet with a wide range of entrepreneurs and share how our free business advisory services can help support their growth—from accessing capital to refining business plans and navigating government contracting.
Business Expo at Javits Center
Pace SBDC was proud to co-host a table alongside our colleagues at Baruch College, York College and Lehman College SBDCs at this major business networking event. The Javits Center Expo brought together thousands of small business owners, vendors, and ecosystem partners. It was a powerful platform to share resources, build connections, and introduce our services to attendees looking to scale and innovate.
Bedford Stuyvesant Small Business Event
Hosted by the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, this event allowed the Pace SBDC team to engage one-on-one with local small business owners in Bedford Stuyvesant. As the sole SBDC present, we were able to spotlight our unique offerings and emphasize our commitment to supporting neighborhood-based entrepreneurship and economic growth.
Across these events, our advisors provided insights on business strategy, financing options, and navigating the startup process—reinforcing our role as a trusted resource in New York City’s small business ecosystem.
