Kiva Crowdlending Platform – 0% Interest Small Business Loans Workshop Recap

The Pace University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) partnered with Kiva, an online crowd lending platform, to host an informative workshop on their small business loans. KIVA provides 0% interest loans of up to $10,000 with no fees and repayment terms of up to 36 months to new entrepreneurs and existing small business owners. The loans are extended to individuals with no minimum credit score or collateral, and a business plan and financial statements are not required. During the workshop, attendees learned about the loan application and repayment process, eligibility, how to build a network of supporters from Kiva’s 1.5 million members, and how to get free marketing exposure for their business.
