One-On-One Legal Clinic Workshop

Pace SBDC collaborated with the City Bar Justice Center’s Neighborhood Entrepreneur Law Project (NELP) to host a free legal clinic where volunteer attorneys from Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP provided 1:1 assistance to entrepreneurs on specific legal issues their businesses face. Attendees were able to receive assistance on determining the best legal structure for their business, corporate formation, drafting and reviewing business contracts, negotiating commercial leases, and obtaining intellectual property protections including trademarks, copyrights and patents.
