Privately-Funded Growth & Launch Grants

Win $25,000 for emerging creative marketing businesses. $18K in cash and $7K in services, including three years of HoneyBook Premium membership

The NIH is offering grants to help early-career scientists transition to entrepreneurship. There are two rounds for this grant; each round has a different budget cap. Phase I: $300K maximum. Phase II: $2M maximum. You must submit a letter of intent by July 21 to apply.

The Amber Grant by WomensNet is providing $10,000 and $25,000 grants for female entrepreneurs to achieve their business dreams.

To be eligible, applicants must be a women-owned business or a female entrepreneur. Further, Applicants must share their business or business idea and explain how they would use the grant money.

FedEx E-Commerce Learning Lab - Powered by nonprofit partner Accion Opportunity Fund and e-commerce consultancy 37 Oaks, this five-month program provides: Immersive e-commerce courses and workshops Coaching from industry experts Networking with fellow entrepreneurs Online sales support and order fulfillment through the 2024 holiday season A $5,000 business grant to support e-commerce growth plans.

In this Pitch Program, woman-owned businesses with at least 51% Black/Brown women founders have the opportunity to compete for up to $15k to help accelerate their businesses.

Deadline: 10/9/24

HVAC small businesses can hire students and recent grads and get reimbursed for up to 90% of intern wages! The program offers access to a pool of qualified candidates and supports flexible internship schedules.

Program participants can receive a grant of up to $5,000 to cover the costs of recommended measures or certain types of resiliency equipment such as portable flood barriers, generators, and fire-proof storage containers.

The program is first-come, first-served within specific geographic boundaries. SBS will continue to process applications and subsequent grants until the funding has been exhausted.

Public Sector Grant Programs
New York State has launched a Pre-Seed and Seed Matching Fund Program which will offer early-stage start-up companies in high-growth industries $50,000 to $250,000 in growth assistance, which they will match with funds from private sector co-investors. 
SBIR/STTR programs support scientific excellence and technological innovation through the investment of Federal research funds in critical American priorities to build a strong national economy.
The Global NY State Trade Expansion Program (STEP) offers reimbursable grants of up to $5,000 to qualifying small and medium-sized business engaging in exporting for expenses related to participation in trade missions, trade shows exhibitions, export training, website translation, and development of international marketing campaigns.
As of 1/25/24 all STEP funding has been allocated. Any applications submitted on or after 1/25/24 will be accepted and put on a waiting list. If funds become available, companies from the waiting list will be notified.
The Global NY Grant Program offers reimbursable grants of up to $25,000 to help companies customize for export markets, participate in trade shows, and undertake product adaptation to meet foreign regulatory requirements. The fund is currently paused
