The following is a sample of the wide range of community-based lenders, banks, and crowdfunding sources that the Pace SBDC works with to provide access to small business financing:
NYS Certified Minority or Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE)
  • New York State MWBE Certification: Administered by the Empire State Development's (ESD) Division of Minority and Women's Business Development, this program promotes equality of economic opportunities for MWBEs to eliminate barriers to their participation in state contracts. The NYS MWBE program encourages and assists state agencies to award a fair share of contracts to MWBEs; reviews applications by businesses seeking certification; maintains a NYS Directory of Certified Firms; and promotes the business development of MWBEs through education and outreach to NYS agencies and MWBEs.
